I had the opportunity to work with barbara finlay to help starting the December 9 Coalition in the 90’s to coordinate the fight for queer legal rights.

She opened doors for many in the 2sLGBTQ communities when the community gate keepers kept us out and still do.

As a lawyer, she fought and won many legal battles and we are we are better for it. She continued to fight for her own wellness and she opened the door for our own peace.

Thank you barbara for opening so many door. You will live in our hearts and minds.
